Fall Cleanup

Includes the removal of branches and leaves from the lawn and beds, along with a mowing of the entire lawn. On the final clean up of the season the grass will be cut shorter so that in the spring it reduces the need for raking and damaging the new growth. Cutting the grass shorter can also help reduce the risk of disease, fungal or mold growth over the colder season.

Pruning & Hedge Trimming

Pruning can also help increase the air flow through the plant to allow for better branch distribution and a healthier plant.

Core & Mechanical Aeration

Mechanical aeration is simply punching holes in the lawn to allow oxygen into the soil, and should be done twice per season. Core aeration removes a core from the ground to help decompress the soil and allow oxygen into the soil. Core aeration should be done once every two seasons.

Fertilizer & Nutrient Application

Includes a select number of applications of fertilizer throughout the season based on lawn needs and weather conditions. Each application is tailored for the time of year, to provide the maximum effect and help strengthen the turf.

Limestone Treatment

Includes the spreading of limestone on the turf to help balance the pH in the soil to provide optimal growing conditions.

Overseeding

Includes the seed and spreading over an existing lawn, to help fill in the grass and create a lush turf. It can be done twice a year however, our recommendation is that it is done once in the fall after the hot season has passed. Overseeding is completed at the same time as an aeration.

Slitseeding

Includes the seed and seeding of an existing lawn with a machine that cuts small slits in the lawn and places seed into the slit to allow for better germination of the grass seed. Recommended in place of overseeding.

Dethatching

Includes removing the build up of thatch on a lawn. Removing thatch helps allow water, air and nutrients to better reach the soil. This also helps in the draining of the lawn. This is only recommended if there is a thick layer of thatch, otherwise it can be harmful to the lawn.
